Devendra performs foundation stone laying ceremony at Sector-5 Sai temple

Bhilai, Jun 11: Mayor and MLA Bhilai Nagar Devendra Yadav accompanied by the MiC member and incharge of Public Works as well as the Ward Corproator on Tuesday morning performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of shed in the Sai temple located on plot no 08, Street 40, Sector 05 of ward 54.
Santosh Kale, secretary of Sai Baba Aarti Satsanga Committee informed that a school Sai Vidyalaya for kids is being run from the temple premises which provides education to the under privileged children from Nursery to KG-2 free of cost. So far 670 children have been given education from this school and three teachers render their service. At present also 60 to 70 students are studying in different classes. The shade was very necessary for the children as till now they were playing in sun irrespective of the weather condition be it summer, rainy or winter season. Also the Aarti time in the temple is 12:30 hrs and 18:30 hrs and huge number of devotees collect to perform it. With the construction of the shed for which the foundation stone was laid today would provide solution to this problem permanently. Devendra Yadav and Neeraj Pal performed the necessary rituals for the foundation stone laying ceremony.
In his address, Devendra Yadav said that the temple premise is spread on over 10,000 square feet, and also it does a noble work of providing free education to children. Keeping this in mind and the demand from the devotees the bhoomi pujan has been performed for the construction of shed. The construction work for the shed has also been started from today, and as the area is close to his residence, he could visit it at any time. Sai Baba Aarti Satsanga Committee president Ravi Kumar Bisare thanked Devendra Yadav and Neeraj Pal for the construction of the shed.
A large number of devotees, including the Deputy Commissioner, Shweta Maheshwar and Priya Khairvar, were present on the occasion of the meeting of the Committee Chairman, Vice President SP Joshi, Prabhakar Wankhede, Prakash Vaidya and in-charge Zone Commissioner SP Sahu, Assistant Engineer Sanjay Agrawal.
