Devendra performs bhoomipujan for development works

Bhilai, Oct 18: On Monday, the residents of Sector 5 of Bhilai Township received the gifts of some development works in their area. The projects include a football ground in Street 26 and a park near 7 MT Square. Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav performed bhoomipujan of both the development works.
The football ground will be constructed at a cost of Rs 26 lakhs while the garden near the vertical garden “I Love Bhilai” will be developed at a cost of Rs 18 lakhs. Yadav performed the religious rituals of bhoomipujan amidst chanting of ved mantras.
Thereafter, Devendra accompanied with former Ward Corporator Neeraj Pal took a round of the locality and met the locals. He interacted with the residents and enquired about everyone’s well being. He sought information from the people about the basic problems.
He responded immediately to the complaints and conducted site inspections with the people. He took stock of the civic amenities including electricity, water, road, drains, sanitation, etc. People accorded him rousing welcome at several places.
The residents expressed their gratitude to Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav. People said that after being elected as MLA, Devendra had conducted development work worth crores in their ward. They added that Devendra has changed the picture of the entire sector.
There are clear roads, major roads have been constructed, paver blocks have been installed on roadside, grand beautiful gardens for children, etc have been built. A football ground will be developed for children and youth.
