Devendra asks BSP to increase Corona treatment facilities

Bhilai, Sep 20: Ventilators and necessary facilities will be made available soon for better treatment of corona virus patients in Sector 9 Hospital. For this, BSP management will purchase more ventilators for Sector 9 Hospital.
Bhilai Mayor and MLA Devendra Yadav discussed these issues during a meeting with BSP-CEO Anirban Dasgupta on Sunday. Yadav’s Legal Advisor Pradeep Das was also present in the meeting.
It needs to be mentioned here that coronavirus infection is spreading rapidly in the region and many BSP personnel have lost their lives after getting infected from this dreaded virus. Considering the situation, Devendra Yadav conducted discussion with BSP CEO and requested him to arrange better treatment in JLN Hospita, Sector 9 as there is a shortage of ventilators and other essential facilities due to Corona Patients are not getting proper treatment.
Yadav said that necessary facilities must be provided to the patients. He urged the BSP-CEO to acquire at least 50 ventilators from the government organization, which provides ventilators at cheaper price. CEO assured to take appropriate action at its earliest. Devendra further suggested the BSP-CEO to introduce some special scheme for the doctors and medical personnel who are working as Corona Warriors. CEO replied that they will soon take some significant decision in the interest of BSP personnel. BSP management is also exploring special insurance policy for BSP personnel.
Apart from this, BSP-CEO assured MLA Devendra Yadav that BSP will make best efforts to meet the oxygen requirements of the entire state. At present, BSP is providing oxygen to almost entire state. BSP is producing enough oxygen and also has sufficient number of cylinders. Several other issues including beautification of township, maintenance of quarters, regularisation of leased quarters etc were also discussed.
