Raipur, Jun 04: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday said that development and elections should not be related as elections are mathematical equations and has nothing to do with the development.Nadda made the above statement while addressing a press conference during his day-long visit to Chhattisgarh here on Monday afternoon. Replying to a question, the visiting Union Minister said that elections are mathematical equations whereas developments are aimed for public welfare.
Nadda highlighted the achievements of four years rule of Narendra Modi government at Centre. Replying to a question, he said that government is committed to check the errors being faced in the implementation of various public welfare programmes.
Regarding the expansion of medical facilities, he asked the Chhattisgarh Government to enhance the Dialasis services in all the districts and added that government is committed to ensure that all the Hospitals and Medical Institutions are bring brought under single regulation through Model Clinical Act.
Replying to a question on regular increase in petrol, diesel prices, he said that all possible efforts are being made to check growing inflation. He said that new tools are being designed by the government to check the errors. To a question on Chhattisgarh being ignored during the last few years, he said that it is the aspirations and expectations high among people whereas Chhattisgarh has not been politically or economically ignored by NDA government. HE further said that they have all equations with them for poll victory but it could be relieved only at appropriate time.
