Demand for 10% reservation to economically weaker section raised

Raipur: Office bearers of various social organisations today met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residential office here and demanded 10% reservation to economically weaker section of people in general category in Chhattisgarh state.

The Chief Minister told to the delegation that no injustice would be meted out to any people. He said that decision on this matter would be taken after studying the report of law department. Forest Minister Md Akbar and School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam were present on the occasion.

Also present were Rashtriya Brahman Mahasangh president Pramod Goutam, Kshatriya Kalyan Sangathan president Satendra Singh Goutam, Kayasth Samaj president Atal Shrivastav, Bhojpuri Samaj president Naresh Kumar Suman, Bengali Brahman Samaj president Somendra Chatterjee, Akhil Bharatiya Bhojpuri Sahitya Samaj president Manoranjan Kumar Singh, Vipra Vahini Sangh president Rakesh Goutam and office bearers of various other organisations.
