Delta Plus variants dangerous, Vishnudev Sai warns state govt

Raipur, Jun 28: BJP state president Vishnudev Sai has expressed deep concern over delta plus variant patients registered in 12 states of the country including the neighboring states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
He has asked the state government to work in this direction on a war-footing at the ground level. Sai warned that from now onwards, if the state government does not make adequate medical arrangements for the prevention of corona virus, then the situation in Chhattisgarh will worsen and only Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the state government will be responsible for it. Vishnudev Sai said that in view of the apprehensions of infection of the Delta Plus variant, it is not enough for Chief Minister Baghel to say that the officials have been alerted. When the experts have considered this virus to be so dangerous that it can infect someone in 30 seconds and it can be fatal than before, then Chief Minister Baghel instead of taking concrete initiative in this direction for its prevention, are taking it lightly. Sai said that along with being unlocked in the state, people from many states are coming to Chhattisgarh. State government should inform that how many people are coming to Chhattisgarh by air, rail and bus travel in the state and how many people from other states have stayed here? Sai said that overall the government has lost its hands and is adopting a completely sluggish attitude towards prevention of corona, which can be fatal for the people of the state.
