Daily wagers meeting concludes

Kondagaon, Oct 22: A meeting of all departmental daily wage earners completed in Kondagaon , here at meeting hall of the forest department. The agenda of the meeting was the recruitment of third and fourth grade employees and it has been decided unanimously to cancel or modify the recruitment process.
During the 2018 assembly elections, the Congress government has promised regularization in the public manifesto and no employee will be retrenched. Regularization will be done on the vacant posts. The meeting concluded with the demand of all the employees who are serving as daily wage earners till October, be regularized.
The outsourcing should be stopped and the daily wage earners should be kept unchanged. It also demanded that as inflation has increased therefore, the salary of the employee should be increased according to the inflation rate or equal pay should be applicable for equal work.
During this meeting, all departmental daily wage earners’ union’s district president Virendra Baghel , vice president Santosh Mitra , patron Sanjit Singh , secretary Kamal Dhruv , treasurer Kailash Srivastava , co-secretary Anil Yadav , media in-charge Vikas Saha and employees of all departments of Kondagaon district were present.
