CWG 2018,Day10 Update: India’s Medal Tally Rises

India will look to add to its medal tally with multiple finals lined up on Day 10 of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

Indian athletes will compete in hockey, shooting, table tennis, badminton, wrestling, boxing, squash and athletics.

Sanjeev Rajput – Shooting – 50m Rifle 3 Position

Gaurav Solanki – Boxing – 52 kg category

Sumit Malik – Wrestling – 125 kg freestyle category

Badminton: Lee Chong Wei dashes hopes of an all-Indian men’s singles final. The legend defeats HS Prannoy in three games to set up a gold medal match with World No.1 Kidambi Srikanth.

Badminton: And we’re going to have a dream final in the women’s singles! PV Sindhu wins her semi-final after her Canadian opponent retires in the second game. It’s going to be PV Sindhu against Saina Nehwal in the gold medal match.

Athletics: India’s Neeraj Chopra is at the top of his game in the javelin throw final. He’s in the lead at the moment after two massive attempts, both crossing the 85 meter mark comfortably.

Badminton: HS Prannoy is locked in a gripping battle with the great Lee Chon Wei. It’s tied at 6-6 in the deciding game.

Badminton: India’s PV Sindhu wins the first game of her women’s singles semi-final 21-18. It was a tight game with Sindhu’s Canadian opponent putting up a solid fight. Will the Indian qualify for the final to compete for gold with her compatriot Saina Nehwal?

Athletics: The javelin throw final is about to begin. India’s Neeraj Chopra and Vipin Kasana will be in action.
