CRPF 219 Battalion hosts ‘mass meal’

Konta, Oct 17: On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, under the direction of Nitin Kumar Commandant 219 Battalion, ‘Kanya Pujan’ and mass meal were organized on October 14 at Injaram headquarters.
First of all, all the soldiers present in the camp prayed to Goddess Durga for peace in the surrounding area and performed ‘havan’, after which all the girls were offered prasad after worshiping the girl.
Later, prasad of Kheer, Puri, Laddu, Bundi and Haluwa were distributed to the nearby villagers in Injaram headquarters and all the communities.
The food was thoroughly enjoyed by the villagers and after eating the prasad, there was a lot of happiness on the faces of the villagers. Delicious prasad like kheer, puri, laddu, boondi and haluwa were thoroughly enjoyed by the girls.
On this auspicious occasion of Maha Navratri, villagers came to the camp and celebrate the festival with CRPF, it seems that the villagers come out of the false ideologies of Naxalites and wish for development and Naxal-free area.
On this occasion, Nitin Kumar, Commandant 219 Battalion and all the officers gave assurance that for the bright future of all the children around, development of the area and restoration of peace.
