Crowds started popping up in public places as soon as it’s unlocked

Central Chronicle News
Raipur, May 28: As soon as the second lockdown is unlocked, the relaxation being given by the government through the District Collectors are being misused in large scale. The speed of the corona infection has been reduced to a great extent by the coordinated efforts of the state government through doctors, paramedical staff and voluntary organizations, but people are taking undue advantage of unlock during the market hours opened till 6 pm. Social distancing norms are being openly violated. There is a risk of corona infection being scaled up if the social distancing and corona guidelines are violated. It is notable that state health minister TS Singhdeo had said publicly that the lockdown is not a solution to the problem. The way in which the shops and private public institutions are being crowded by the educated people in urban areas as compared to the rural areas is a major cause of concern as there is risk of corona infection being spread in large scale. The central and state governments are repeatedly giving information that the speed of second wave of corona pandemic has decreased. The threat of the third wave is still intact. According to some residents of the city, in the case of violation of the Corona Guidelines, the provisions in the Pandemic Act should be made more stringent by the Chief Minister so that the negligence made by some people could not spread the corona virus Covid 19 epidemic to a larger population.
