With demand to open schools from Nov 2, the office bearers of Chhattisgarh Private School Management Association (CPSMA) had submitted memorandum in the name of Chief Minister and Education Minister through Collectors in 20 different districts of the state here on Wednesday. The Association cited example of Punjab and UP where schools are operational. It is notable here that the Schools in the state and country are closed since March 15 onwards due to outbreak of corona pandemic.
The President CPSMA Rajiv Gupta informed that right after outbreak of Coronavirus in last week of March, all the schools and other educational institutions are keeping close. But now the corona pandemic is under control and therefore a memorandum was submitted in the name of CM and Education Minister in all 20 districts through District Collector with demand to open schools from Nov 2.
In the memorandum a demand for opening of Schools from Class 6th to 12th has been made.
The organization has given assurance that the guidelines issued for prevention of corona pandemic would be strictly adhered in the Schools. They informed that Schools are now functional in Punjab and UP and all Central Schools are opening from Nov 2 onwards. At present corona pandemic is very much under control and opening of schools will benefit students in the Schools, they added.
