
Raipur, Sep 27: Coronavirus (COVID-19) tally in Chhattisgarh has crossed 1 lakh mark on Saturday after 3896 positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile 23 patients with COVID-19 infection died, pushing the death toll to 817 in the state so far. Moreover 643 patients who were undergoing treatment in various hospitals were discharged after recovery.
According to information received from health department out of 3896 fresh Coronavirus positive patients maximum 891 belong to Raipur whereas 313 patients were found in Durg, 111 in Rajnandgaon, 61 in Balod, 34 in Bemetara, 65 in Kabirdham, 155 in Dhamtari, 76 in Baloda-Bazaar, 108 in Mahasamund, 62 in Gariaband, 213 in Bilaspur, 281 in Raigarh, 247 in Korba, 183 in Janjgir-Champa, 42 in Mungeli, 34 in Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 131 in Sarguja, 41 in Koriya, 28 in Surajpur, 47 in Balrampur, 30 in Jashpur, 188 in Bastar, 103 in Kondagaon, 99 in Dantewada, 146 in Sukma, 127 in Kanker, 40 in Narayanpur and 37 in Bijapur. Three patients have come from other states. Total 643 patients who were undergoing treatment in various hospitals have recovered and they have returned to their homes after discharge. In addition to this 2544 patients have been discharged from home isolation. Twenty three Coronavirus positive patients including 12 with co-morbidities have also died during this period.
Total 1034460 samples were collected for Coronavirus testing in Chhattisgarh and 102461 of them were found to have tested positive so far. At present 30689 active Coronavirus positive patients are under treatment in various hospitals whereas 45511 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery so far. Total 817 Coronavirus positive patients have died in the state so far.
