Second list of Boards, Corporations likely after CM’s return from Delhi

Ahead of the appointments in various state-run Boards and Corporations in Chhattisgarh, the ruling Congress would take up expansion of Organization to strengthen the party. A meeting under chairmanship of CM Bhupesh Baghel was held at his official residence here on Tuesday and in this discussions were held in context of appointments to be made in the organization and in vacant posts of Chairman in Boards and Corporations in the state.
As per information in this regard, CM Bhupesh Baghel will be leaving on tour to Delhi for 1-2 days and would hold talks with the party High Command in this regard. Sources informed that the final list has been prepared in the meeting and this will be taken by Baghel to Delhi for final consent.
Decision in this regard was taken in 5-hour long marathon meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel here on Tuesday. Office-bearers name to the key post in Organization have been finalized at the meeting during which the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President Mohan Markam as well as Cabinet Ministers Ravindra Choubey and Md Akbar were also present.
Speaking after the meeting, Mohan Markam said that list of block presidents will be released soon and added appointment of dedicated party workers is done in view of 2023 VS polls.
With the above decision, the CPCC would be making Organizational appointments within next two-three days whereas select appointment in various state-run Boards and Corporations too would be made by the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel after he takes final consent from the central leadership.
This has brought a new ray of hope among the party workers and dedicated workers who were either denied ticket in the last elections or had given good performance and are running pretty annoyed over inordinate delay. In the new list, there are chances of berth to two-three new MLAs. In the second list of Boards and Corporations, there are reports of two senior journalists likely to be added and few names of the party from outside as well.
It is notable here that PCC state in-Charge PL Punia has already made it clear that in the State-run Boards and corporations only senior party leaders will be given berth. As a result of this the earlier contenders for Boards and Corporations will be given adjusted at the district and block-level.
Following appointments are pending:
Legal Commission, MARKFED, CSIDC, Beej Nigam, Sindhi Aayog, Child Protection Commission, Shiksha Aayog, Matikala Board, Kesh Shilpi Kalyan Mandal Board, Waqf Board, Yuwa Aayog, Hindi Granth Academy and other department.
