Raipur, Sep 22: In accordance with the decision taken by All India Congress Committee (AICC), the AICC Chhattisgarh In-charge PL Punia, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Pradesh Congress Committee president Mohan Markam would talk to the reporters at 1 pm on September 24 (Thursday). Giving this information the Pradesh Congress Communication Chief Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said that a decision had been taken at the meeting of AICC office bearers to launch agitation in phased manner against ‘anti-farmer’ policy of Modi Government at the centre.
Parliamentary democracy is being strangled inside the parliament and farmers are being beaten on the roads, Trivedi said, adding that laborers and farmers are being deprived of livelihood. Voice of farmers being raised inside the parliament is being muzzled, he added. Trivedi said that the Congress has chalked out plan on the instructions of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for a massive agitation against ‘anti-farmer’ policy of the Modi government.
