Congress hits back at Raman for questioning about employment blueprint

Raipur: Congress today hit back at BJP national vice president and former chief minister of Chhattisgarh for questioning Bhupesh Government over its employment blueprint.

Congress has ‘black’ print of 15-year tenure of previous BJP government led by Dr Raman Singh, said Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and Transport Minister Moh. Akbar. Addressing a press conference at Pradesh Congress headquarters here today they reiterated allegations of corruptions against previous Raman Government saying that 18 irregularities of 180-month old Raman Government would be disclosed very soon.

They said that Dr Singh should explain why his government did not fulfill the important promises made to the people in 2003, 2008 and 2013 assembly elections. Congress made 36 key promises to the public in the 2018 assembly elections, out of which 22 have been fulfilled in a mere 18-month tenure, they said.

To a question over Dr Singh’s allegations over appointment of parliamentary secretaries they said that appointment will be done by keeping in mind the orders of the High Court. When asked about Dr Singh’s allegations of setting up check posts on the inter-state borders of the Transport Department after three years, they said that after ruling for 13 years, Dr Singh came to know that the check post is the center of corruption.

They claimed that after closure of Raman government’s check post in 2017, the state incurred revenue loss of Rs 336 crore.
