Congmen set BJP’s effigy on fire

Bhilai, Aug 18: Congress Party Workers on Wednesday staged protest against Bharatiya Janata Party Union Government over the alleged misbehaviour with the MPs in the parliament. As per the instructions of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee, the effigy of Bharatiya Janata Party was set on fire at Ambedkar Square, Power House by the office bearers and members of Bhilai District Congress Committee. The demonstrators carried the effigy around the square and later set it on fire.
Bhilai City District Congress President Tulsi Sahu, former state minister Badruddin Qureshi and ex-MLA Bhajan Singh Nirankari condemned the indecent behaviour with MPs and termed the Bharatiya Janata Party a big threat to democracy. The leaders said that such misbehaviour with women in the pious place like Rajya Sabha is highly condemnable.
