Commissioner conducts inspection of various zones

Korba, Sep 24: Municipal Commissioner Kuldeep Sharma did an extensive inspection of dozens of wards, in Korba, TP Nagar, Kosabari, Ravi Shankar Shukla and Balco zones of the Corporation and reviewed the recently completed works at various places. At various sites, he saw the quality of works, and gave necessary directions to the officers regarding the improvement of various repair and improvement work as well as maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene in the region. He while inspecting the recently completed development and construction works, saw their quality, inspected the progressing works and instructed the officers to keep a close watch on the quality of construction. The Commissioner reviewed the works of Lalu Ram Colony, road asphaltization, drain construction work in TP Nagar main road, sewer line constructed in Pt. Ravishankar Shukla Nagar, road construction in Kharmora, community building located near Itwari market, and also instructed the officials to plant trees on the ridge of the newly constructed small pond in Kharmora Basti and to clean the pond. He also inspected the new bus stand at TP Nagar, and instructed officials to repair the 30 year old bus stand, and accommodate it with lights, and water ATM. Expressing displeasure on seeing the dumping of waste on the side of the road from Mudapar Hospital to GM Office under SECL Korba and at various places in Subhash block, he served notice to the SECL management. Zone Commissioner RK Choubey, RK Maheshwari, MN Sarkar, Estate Officer Shridhar Banafar, Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Tiwari, Sunil Verma and other officers were
present.
