Collector, SP inspect two PPCs

Bijapur, Dec 17: Collector Bijapur RK Katara and SP Kamlochan Kashyap conducted inspection of Paddy Procurement Centres (PCCs) of Basaguda and Usoor under Usoor block and took information about arrangements made for the same.
Officer duo issued instructions to provide all facilities to the farmers and ensure that they do not face any unwanted problems or situation.
Collector Katara also took information about tokens issued to farmers; total paddy purchase till date; moisture measuring instrument; ‘hamal’, weighing machine; availability of tarpaulin in PPC; proper storage of paddy in PPC; stacking of paddy in gunny bags; drainage and others
He gave necessary instructions to Manager of Samiti related to ensuring proper drinking water facility and took information about the computer and its working. He also asked the Samiti manager to create awareness among farmers about Covid vaccination and ask them to get vaccination at the earliest.
