Collector inspects postal ballot arrangements

Bhilai, Dec 17: The employees appointed in the election work, cast their votes through postal ballot in the District Panchayat premises on Thursday for the urban body elections. This system is used by those voters who cannot be physically present to cast their vote in their
respective area.
In such a situation, the State Election Commission provides these voters the facility to cast their votes through postal ballot. District Election Officer Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure visited here to take stock of the arrangement.
Collector was satisfied with the peaceful and systematic process. On the occasion, Deputy District Election Officer Khemlal Verma informed that the postal ballot voting was conducted smoothly.
