Collector gives instructions to improve facilities at CCM Hospital
Bhilai, Oct 12: Three buses will be operated to facilitate the patients to reach CCM Hospital in Kachandur. These buses will be ply on such routes that maximum number of people can be benefited. Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena gave these instructions during a meeting of the officials at CCM Hospital. The Collector said working has to be done in the direction of increasing the footfall at OPDs of the hospital. Mitanin will also work to provide maximum facilities to the surrounding villages through the hospital. Cluster wise Mitanin will coordinate to take the patients to the hospital. Dean PK Patra, Nodal Officer Padmini Bhoi and other officials were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the Collector discussed the necessary facilities with the hospital management and doctors. Doctors stated that there is a need to expand the range of medicines in the hospital. On this, the Collector gave instructions to the management to make more medicines available. Along with this, he asked the officers to continuously monitor the availability of all the medicines.
The Collector said that they have to focus on four OTs including Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and Emergency. He asked the officials to make him aware about the need of manpower and resources so that arrangements can be made. Along with this, a complete system of equipment like X-ray, sonography should be maintained so that the patients can get the best treatment.
It was informed in the meeting that some villagers have to travel long distances as there is no entrance for the hospital from the back side. The Collector instructed the officials to open the way in the rear end of the campus so that the patients do not face any kind of problem. He said that people should also be made aware about the facilities available in the hospital. Wide publicity should be conducted about the facilities.
The Collector also gave instructions on the necessary facilities in the college. He said that the campus should be very beautiful and clean. The students should not face any problem. Along with this, complete arrangements should also be made for their sports activities. For this, he instructed them to build volleyball and badminton courts.
