CM’s Independence Day greetings to people

Raipur, Aug 14: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Independence Day. In his congratulatory message on the eve of Independence Day, the Chief Minister said ‘we got freedom because of struggle, dedication, sacrifice and sacrifice of lakhs of patriotic freedom fighters. This festival of independence reminds us of all those nameless warriors, martyrs and brave soldiers. Because of their struggle and sacrifices we are breathing in a free atmosphere today’.
Chief Minister Baghel also remembered all the forefathers who spread national consciousness in Chhattisgarh including the great freedom fighters who awakened the spirit of freedom in the country. Freedom gained from struggles is priceless; it is the duty of every citizen to work to keep it intact, said Baghel. He said that the State Government was moving towards realizing the vision of ‘Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh’ with Gandhian thinking.
The priority of the government is to empower the most vulnerable sections of the society, strengthen villages and provide basic amenities to every individual. The schemes implemented by the state government for villages, poor, farmers as well as women and children have started showing positive results, Baghel said.
The Chief Minister said that in order to strengthen the rural economy in the state, public welfare schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana have been implemented. Taking forward the work of public welfare, landless agricultural laborers are going to implement Nyay Yojana in the name of Rajiv Gandhi. Selected major Kharif crops of the state have been brought under the purview of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme has also been implemented for environmental protection. Baghel said that the country is fighting the biggest tragedy of Corona pandemic after independence. The Corona crisis is not over yet. To win this global challenge, we need strong will power, mutual cooperation and precaution, he said.
