CM pays obeisance to Lord Shiva at Thakuraeintola

Bhilai, Mar 11: Chhattisgarh state government has provided many facilities to fishermen by providing status to farming to fisheries. Just like farmers, the fishermen will be able to take loans from the cooperative bank and other similar facilities, stated Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the convention of Nishad Samaj at village Thakuraeintola of Patan Block on Thursday.
Chief Minister visited the Lord Shiva temple and paid obeisance to the deity. While congratulating the villagers on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, he said that it is a very sacred festival today. Chief Minister said that Nishad society has been a pioneer in field of social work.
Nishad Raj has been the ideal character of Ramayana. When Lord Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya and preparations were being made for swearing him as the king, Lord Ram asked whether Nishad Raj had been invited or not. Today the foreign dignitaries are invited as guests on the occasion of Republic Day, in the same way; Lord Shri Ram gave the highest honor to Nishad Raj.
Government of Chhattisgarh is committed for development of fishermen which will in turn increase the income of farmers. Along with farming, activities like animal husbandry and fisheries will also be encouraged. On this occasion, Baghel said that due to the pro-farmer policies of the state government, people have returned back to agriculture.
It was decided by the government to provide assistance in four instalments through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. CM assured that the final instalment will be given to the farmers by the end of this month. This amount was provided to the farmers at a time when it was needed the most by the farmers.
In the same way, source of additional income was also introduced for the farmers through the Godhan Nyay Yojna. Animal husbandry, farming and fisheries have opened the way for rural growth. Chief Minister said that jute mills remained closed during the Corona period, which created crisis of gunny bags.
In spite of this shortage, the government made complete arrangements for paddy procurement. Chief Minister said that the government is committed towards advancing rural development schemes and the state government will continue to work in this direction. Gundradehi MLA Kunwar Nishad and other dignitaries were present.
