CM inspects works of SHGs in Gouthan

Kondagaon, Jan 30: Chief Minister visited Gram Kongera of Kondagaon district during his recent tour to Bastar and he was accorded warm welcome by villagers here. During this he inspected model Gouthan at Kongera and activities of other SHGs.
CM on this occasion inspected works related to goat rearing, ‘Kukkut Palan’, ‘douna-pattal kendra’, ‘dal processing-packaging unit’, ‘Goudhan Dugdh production centre’ and other produce. On this occasion PHE Minister and district in-Charge Guru Rudra Kumar and Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma, MLA Kondagaon Mohan Markam, MLA Keshkal Santram Netam and other public reps were present.
CM reached Gram Kongera (Baderajpur), about 70 kms from district headquarters at around 1:00 pm by helicopter and here he was accorded warm welcome by women of ‘Bihaan Group’ in the Model ‘Goutan’ premises. The folk dancers of region also performed tribal folk dance and welcomed him.
CM on this occasion asked about various activities of the Group and inspected the Mushroom production unit. Here Pragati SHG Janto Mandavi, Sheetala SHG Premlata Netam gave information to CM about Oyster mushroom and income from it. After this CM inspected other units and talks to respective in-charge.
On this occasion CM was also weighed against paddy on the weighing scale. MLA Santuram Netam held CM Baghel as son of the soil and hailed all decisions taken in favour of farmers. CM also planted sapling of coconut trees on the Gouthan premises.
