CM dedicates Jawahar Bazar in heart of city

People to get organised market, sufficient parking

Raipur, Nov 24:
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel dedicated the Jawahar Nagar Parking cum commercial complex in heart of capital city. The re-construction and renovation of this historical commercial complex of capital city has been done by Raipur Smart City Limited at the cost of Rs 23.75 crore. In this renovation work, the historical main door of the complex has been kept intact and it has added to its beauty.
It is notable here that CM Bhupesh Baghel dedicated six different development works to denizens of capital city at the cost Rs 33.25 crore on Tuesday evening. This include construction of Global Chowk in Devendra Nagar at the cost of Rs 3.28 crore; Oxyzonie Smart Road at the cost of Rs 2.52 crore and upgradation of public facilities in the Collectorate Garden at the cost of Rs 75 lakh and dedication of newly constructed building of New City Kotwali thana bhavan and Musical Fountain in city’s Budhatalab at the cost of around Rs 6 crore.
It is notable here that in the city’s Jawahar bazar parking cum commercial complex, the long pending demand of purchase and organised market and proper parking of vehicles for the people of city will be fulfilled. The denizens of city will get convenient market in heart of the city and it would also relieve them of parking problem. In the new construction work for Jawahar market, it is now three-storied with 147 shops. The second and third floor will be used for commercial purpose and here 8 commercial offices have been made. After the renovation work, the 67 traders w ho were working on rental basis for decades too have been given ownership rights. In this premises, 150 cars and 110 two-wheelers can be parked.
At the dedication programme, HM Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Moh. Akbar, Urban Admn. Minister Dr Shivkumar Daharia, MLA Satyanarayan Sharma, MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Vikas Upadhyay, RMC Mayor Ejaz Dhebar, Speaker Pramod Dubey and other public reps, CS RP Mandal, Collector and Municipal commissioner were also present.
