CM Baghel to table state’s budget today

Raipur, Feb 24: Chief Minister holding the portfolio of Finance Department will be tabling the state’s annual budget for FY 2021-22 in Vidhan Sabha on Monday afternoon. People from all sections of the society are keeping close eye on this state budget as it is being presented during recession period which most of the states faced during corona pandemic, especially the youth, employees, women and farmers.
On the other hand, CM Bhpuesh Baghel refused to give any indications about the type of budget he will be tabling in budget session of VS on Monday. When the journalists asked about likely indications, CM with smile on his face said that the employees have lot of expectations and this year’s budget may include surprising revelations for them. It is notable here that in last year’s budget, CM Baghel by including the demand of merger of S’karmis with School Education Department, fulfilled one of their major demand and at the same time has started recruitment of teachers and police jawans in the Police Department. In such conditions as to what the budget will hold foryouths, employees and businessmen is something to be known after presentation of budget tomorrow.
Meanwhile Opposition is all set to gherao the ruling government in state on the budget during the discussions to be held on Appropriation in coming two days .
