Children celebrate victory of good over evil

Bhilai, Oct 17: The festival of Dussehra was celebrated across the city with great fervour. But the enthusiasm that prevailing among children- who have been restricted to staying at home for over two years in the wake of Corona pandemic- knew no bounds.
A group of children living in Nehru Nagar East, hardly in their teens, decided to celebrate Dussehra in a small group. The parents too encouraged and under their supervision and guidance the preparations to celebrate began about a week ago. The children not only prepared a 7 feet Ravan but also paraded as Ram, Laxman, Sita, Hanuman and remaining as “Sena”.
Conceptualised by young Pratik Agrawal, Arshmit paraded as Lord Ram, Savar as Laxman, Sampan as Hanuman, Arpita as Sita Mata and the sena was made up by the presence of Vadant, Darshani, Aaradhya, Darshil, Devashish, Mannan, Shagun, Yug, Maulli, Sahil and many others. The parents who encouraged and assisted the children were Hritikesh Pankaj Agrawal, Amit Singh, Manish & Sumit Tamrakar, Sunil Maheshwari, Mohan Prakash Varshney, Ajay Pillai, DP Singh, SP Dey, RS Gupta, Pratik Garg, Shubhanker Ghosh, Ranu Nair, Shri Prasad and
others.
