Chh’garh ranks third in the country for conducting maximum number of COVID tests per 10 lakh population daily

Raipur, Apr 03: Chhattisgarh has secured third rank in the country for conducting maximum number of COVID tests per 10 lakh population per day. In this case, only Maharashtra and Gujarat are ahead of Chhattisgarh. On an average 1409 samples per 10 lakh population are being examined every day in the state. A total of 58 lakh 32 thousand 740 samples have been tested for COVID in the state so far.
Since the onset of COVID crisis in the state, Chhattisgarh has been among the leading states of the country for testing maximum number samples for COVID-19 per 10 lakh population. In this case, Chhattisgarh is ahead of many major states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
