Ch’garh among first five states of the country in Covid vaccination

Raipur, Aug 21: The state of Chhattisgarh is performing excellently in all sections in the matter of Covid vaccination. More Covid vaccines have been vaccinated in the state than the national average of the country. If we look at the data of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in Chhattisgarh, 74 percent of people above 60 years of age and 54 percent of people above 18 years of age have been vaccinated against the first dose of Covid vaccination. The country’s national average in Covid vaccination is 59 percent in the age group above 60 years and 46 percent in the age group above 18.
If we look at the rest of the states of the country, in Haryana, 72 percent of people above 60 years and 54 percent of people above 18 years got the first dose, in Karnataka 68 percent of people above 60 years and 58 percent of people above 18 years got the first dose. 65 percent of people above 60 years and 58 percent of people above 18 years in Madhya Pradesh got the first dose.
In Delhi, 62 percent of people above 60 years and 53 percent of people above 18 years of age have been vaccinated with first dose and in Odisha, 62 percent of people above 60 years and 48 percent of people above 18 years have been vaccinated with first dose.
