Visiting Chandigarh team defeated the host Chhattisgarh Blues by 17 runs in the Senior Women’s Chhattisgarh T-20 Cup – 2023 organized by Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh here on Saturday.
While batting first, Chandigarh scored 100 runs in loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Kashvi scored maximum 45 runs from 42 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes for Chandigarh whereas Priyanka 12 and Shivi Pandey (not out) 8 runs also helped team to post a decent score.
Bowling performance of Chhattisgarh Blue include Kriti Gupta who took 3 wickets whereas Durgesh Nandani Sahu claimed 2 wickets.
Chandigarh team gave the target of 101 runs in 20.0 overs to Chhattisgarh Blue team. In reply, Chhattisgarh Blue team made 83 runs in loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 17 runs. Kriti Gupta remained (not out) on 26 runs for Chhattisgarh Blue team whereas Kumud Sahu also scored 20 runs in 30 balls, 2 fours and Isha Bharti Dewangan (not out) scored 18 run.
In another match, While batting, Goa team scored 107 runs in loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Shikha Pandey scored highest 59 runs in 49 balls, 6 fours, 2 sixes, whereas Vinavi 16 runs and Poorja also scored 14 runs.
The Goa team gave the target of 108 runs in 20.0 overs to the Odisha team. In reply, the Odisha team lost 10 wickets in 76 runs in 17.5 overs and lost the match by 31 runs.
