CG team selected for 10th Federation Cup Body Builders Competition

Bhilai, Mar 08: On the eve of International Women’s Day, selection trial for Chhattisgarh Team was held for the upcoming 10th Federation Cup National Body Building Men’s / Women’s Sports, Model, Physics Fitness Championship to be held during April 3 & 4 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
The team selection trial was conducted under the supervision of Arvind Singh, General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Body Builders Association and the Organizing Secretary of IBBF. The event was held at Rajput Fitness Gym situated in Maharaja Square of Durg. Arvind Singh announced the names of the Chhattisgarh Team members.
They are Yashwant Singh (Korba) in 55kg category; Ved Maitri (Durg) and Kanha Nishad (Raigarh) in 60 kg category; Ashok Behera (Koriya) and Santosh Kumar Sahu (Rajnandgaon) in 65 kg category; Abhijeet Tiwari (Bilaspur) in 70 kg category, P Anand Rao (Bilaspur) in 80 kg category; and Nisha Bhoyar (Durg) and Supriti Acharji (Durg) in the women’s category. The team will be led by Coach B Rajasekhar Rao and manager Mahendra Tekam.
Chhattisgarh Pradesh Body Builders Association President Yogendra Pandey and Treasurer Arvind Singh were specially present during the selection trial of Chhattisgarh team. Mahendra Tekam, Naresh Chaure, Ramnarayan, Sunil Vaishnav, Arpit Parihar, Tarun Deshmukh, Ashok Singh, Tulsi Soni, B Rajasekhar Rao, Amit Banchhor and Sumit Buddha were the judges while the Stage Marshals were Abhishek Singh, Shrinu Rishabh, Aditya, Lokesh Sharma and Santosh Sharma.
