CG level Volleyball Tournament from today

Raipur: The Raipur District Volleyball Association is organizing a three-day state-level volleyball tournament from September 13 to 15, 2024, at the Sapre School Volleyball Ground in Raipur. The tournament will feature 12 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams from different districts of Chhattisgarh, along with a guest team from Kolkata.
Providing the above information about the tournament Chhattisgarh State Volleyball Association Secretary Akram Khan said that the tournament will be played in a league-cum-knockout format, following the rules of the Volleyball Federation of India. Matches will be held during both day and night sessions. The tournament will be inaugurated at 6:00 pm on September 13.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 21,000, while the runner-up team will receive Rs 11,000 and the third-place team will receive Rs 5,100. The winning teams will also receive trophies in memory of Late Jay Singh Ji. Additionally, awards for Best Attacker, Best Setter, Best Libero, Best Blocker, and Best Player of the Tournament will be presented by Saubhagya Foundation, Raipur.
