CG Girls shine at National Taekwondo Championship

Raipur/Korba: Two young taekwondo players from Korba district, Chhattisgarh, have made the state proud by winning bronze medals at the Asmita Taekwondo Women’s League, Khelo India, held in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Purvi Kaur (Cadet, Under-55 kg) and Sagun Jangde (Cadet, Under-58 kg) clinched bronze medals, showcasing their exceptional skills among 600 participants from various states, including Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, and SAI.
Chhattisgarh Taekwondo Association Secretary Anil Dwivedi congratulated the duo on their achievement.
Purvi and Sagun have now qualified for the National Championship to be held in Shivamogga, Karnataka.
The Chhattisgarh Taekwondo Association, led by President TS Singdeo, and Korba District Taekwondo Association, led by President Akhil Agarwal and Secretary Lokesh Rathore have extended their hearty congratulations to the winning players.
