
Bhilai, Sep 30: Bhilai Truck Trailer Transport Association (BTTTA) has come forward for a noble cause. On the death anniversary of its founder member, president and patron, Seth Beera Singh, Bhilai Truck Trailer Transport Association will launch a scheme to provide financial assistance of Rs 25000 (cash or household items) for the marriage of girls. Inderjit Singh Chhotu, President of BSP Truck Trailer Transport Association, said that a contribution of Rs 25000 will be made for the marriage of the daughters of the union’s drivers, helpers, mechanics, supervisors and lifters. This initiative will be launched on the occasion of the death anniversary of Late Seth Beera Singh on October 03. At the time of the daughter’s marriage, the amount will be handed over to her or the family members. If the members want, they can also buy household items or can get it in cash from the association. All options will be open to them. Apart from this, free health checkup of the drivers, operators and supervisors will also be conducted every month. The Association has always supported its members whenever needed. Inderjit Singh said that they will make all possible efforts for the betterment of the members and the people associated with them.
