State Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar took a state level review meeting of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission at Neer Bhawan in Raipur. In the meeting, the officials gave detailed information about district wise schemes to Minister Rudra Kumar. On which Minister Guru Rudrakumar expressed his displeasure and said that in the last departmental review meeting, clear instructions were given in this regard, which is not showing any effect. The departmental officers should bring change in their working style, otherwise strict action will be taken. He said that supply of clean drinking water to the people is the top priority of the State Government. Any kind of negligence in this will not be tolerated.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo gave necessary instructions to the officers regarding the updated status of the works being carried out under Jal Jeevan Mission. Additional Chief Secretary Sahoo said that during the last review meeting, the works related to taking administrative approval of retrofitting scheme were directed to be completed 100% by October 5. He said that the districts where its implementation is not satisfactory and the work of the scheme is progressing at a slow pace. Taking strict action on the nodal officers in future, instructed the officers to stop two increments. Additional Chief Secretary Sahoo also directed the officers to regularly register the information about the work being done under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the departmental website of the Government of India. Instructions were also given to complete the works of Jal Jeevan Mission before the stipulated time limit. During the meeting, Mission Director S. Prakash informed that better implementation of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission is being carried out in Gariaband district. At the same time, he reacted strongly to the slow pace of the works being carried out in Mahasamund and Jashpur districts.
In the meeting, district wise retrofitting status of online tenders under Jal Jeevan Mission, water sample quality information through FTK, running water supply in ashram schools and health centers, status of solar based tap water supply scheme, new tap water scheme and ongoing tenders. administrative approval, Information of HFTC, approved site water supply scheme and water supply scheme under state NRDWP and other items, district wise hand pumps installed in habitations, single village scheme, multi village scheme, urban water supply scheme, tube wells in Anganwadi centers, schools and Gauthans The updated status of mining was discussed in detail. On this occasion, Secretary Public Health Engineering Dhananjay Devangan, Chief Engineer T.G. Kosaria, Additional Mission Director A.K.
