BMS demands govt to curb price rise

Bhilai, Sep 16: Durg District Unit of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh submitted memorandums addressed to the Prime Minister as well as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh demanding immediate steps to curb the price rise of commodities. The memorandum states that the decline in industrial activities during the Corona period, the problems of unemployment, economic crisis, salary cuts, etc are causing trouble to common people.
In such a situation, the price rise of food items, petrol, diesel, edible oil, chemical, fertilizers, gas cylinders, etc have added to the woes. BMS demanded to provide financial assistance to the farmers and take measures for improving the financial condition of the working class. For the purpose, the State Government and the Central Government should prepare a plan, review it and provide financial assistance and control inflation. State Vice President Ram Avtar Sahu, and Dinesh Kumar Pandey, District President Mithilesh Vishwakarma, District Secretary Anjani Kumar Dwivedi, State General Secretary of Swayattashashi Mazdoor Sangh Vishnu Chandrakar, President of Bhilai Ispat Mazdoor Sangh Indramani Prasad Mishra, District Vice President Shivendra Dubey and Devendra Chandrakar, General Secretary of Security Guard Union Balmiki Singh, General Secretary of Safai Workers Union Ravi Kumar Soni, National Treasurer of Contract Labor Federation Devendra Kaushik, Dharmendra Dhamu, Vasant Mohapatra, Krishna Deshmukh, Kishori Chandrakar, PR Sahu, Hemlal Mahato, Ganeshwar Rao and others were present.
