BMC corporators & Aldermen pay courtesy visit to Collector & SP

Bhilai, Jul 08: The councillors, aldermen and public representatives, as well as Youth Congress activists, pay courtesy visit to the newly appointed Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and Superintendent of Police Prashant Kumar Thakur. Welcoming the duo, the delegate informed that since the formation of the Congress government in the state, development work has seen exponential growth and during the last one year. They further mentioned that the initiatives of Bhilai Mayor and MLA Bhilai Nagar Devendra Yadav, development works to the tune of Rs 59 crores have been approved by the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the government. The delegate extended gratitude to the Chief Minister for the funds sanctioned on the initiatives of the Bhilai Mayor and thanked the District Collector.
During the meeting, the delegate also briefed the Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur about local problems and need for early resolution of issues in public interest with cooperation from all. Councilors Saket Chandrakar, Saurabh Dutta, Suryakant Sinha, Malti Thakur, Satendra Banjare, Dinshaw Tumney, Youth Congress Bhilai President Afroz Khan, YC District General Secretary Rakesh Thakur, Alderman Sunil Goyal, Shamsher Bahadur, Narsinghath, Arvind Rai, Mohammad Shadab, Babita Bhaisare, Lokesh Sahu, D Nagmani, as well as Raju Rajak, Vishal Yadav and Ajit Singh.
