BJYM stages protest on pothole-filled road

Bhilai, Sep 18: On Saturday, the activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha led by District President Nitesh Sahu, staged a unique protest by sitting in the potholes of the main road of the city. They condemned the state government as well as civic body for bad state of the roads. The protestors placed saplings on the pot holes and stated that it is better to grow trees on the roads as they are no longer suitable for commuting.
The protestors raised slogans against the MLA Arun Vora and Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal. Nitesh Sahu said that MLA Arun Vora and Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal are busy in their politics. On the other hand, the people are troubled due to pothole filled roads in the entire city which is causing accidents daily. BJYM District General Secretary, Tekhan Sinha and Gaurav Sharma said that the MLA and the Mayor are unable to understand the problems of the people of Durg city, the citizens of the city are suffering due to lack of basic facilities. Through this demonstration, BJYM trying to wake them up from sleep and work towards improving the condition of the roads, they said.
BJYM District President Nitesh Sahu, General Secretary Tekhan Sinha and Gaurav Sharma, Vice President Teejil Singh, Rahul Diwan, Nitesh Bafna, Amit Patel, Chandrakant Sahu, Sunil Agarwal, Jitendra Rajput, Mukesh Sonkar, Rahul Bhatt, Bunty Deshmukh, Himanshu Singh, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Vipin Chavda, Raja Yadav, Deepak Sinha, Ishwar Devangan, Rahul Patil, Piyush Malviya, Aniket Yadav, Phalendra Yadav, Shubham Sahu, Suryanshu Sharma, Chandan Sahu, Ganesh Yadav, Niranjay Dubey, Ritesh Sen, Ishant Thakur, Pranjal Bhardwaj, Golu Thakur, Yogendra Devangan, Rakesh Devangan, Karan Rajput, Jitu Nagre, Yash Devangan, Kamlesh Rajput and others were present.
