BJYM launches ‘cheer 4 India’ campaign

Nandini-Ahirwara, Aug 02: For motivation to players taking part as Indian contingent in the Tokyo Olympics, BJYM Nandini-Ahirwara branch started Cheer for India campaign at national-level. In Chhattisgarh it is being led by BJYM State President Amit Sahu.
The working committee member BJYM Dau Anand Tamrakar said that in the ‘Cheer for India’ campaign, they would motivate the youth of the country to be more disciplined and appeal athletes to give best of their performance in the Olympics. He informed that this 16-day campaign will last till Aug 8.
Tamrakar informed that walking, running, cycling, meditation, prayer, reading-writing, waking up early are some of the works which infuses feeling of discipline in one’s life. For this the participants will have to register in the website cheerforindia.bjym.org using a phone, laptop by browsing on the internet. The persons who will upload their activities, would be awarded gold medal in virtual manner and those who will upload regularly for 10 days will get silver medal in virtual manner and those will upload for five days will get bronze medal virtually.
BJYM party workers and leaders have expressed happiness on securing of silver medal by India’s weightlifter Meerabai Chanu in the Olympics.
