BJYM burns CM’s effigy

Pandaria, Oct 18: The effigy of CM Bhupesh Baghel was burnt by members of BJYM at Gandhi Chowk here on Sunday evening. During this slogans were raised in protest against the government and in this BJYM andn BJP senior party workers and leaders were present.
BJYM State president Barottam Sahu informed that through this protest BJYM raised demand to pay Rs 1 crore to family members of victims of Pathalgaon road accident alonng with government job to one from the family of the victim. In addition to this BJYM also raised demand for payment of Rs 50 lakh each to the injured family member.
BKYM General Secretary Vishal Sharma said that the CM Bhupesh Baghel should pay attention towards development works in Chhattisgarh and pay attention to local issues. He charged that CM is unable to solve local issues and it touring UP. First he should pay attention to burning issues here in the state and then think of pondering elsewhere. It is the people of state who have chosen him as CM of state. He charged that due to anarchy and lack of law & order situation in state that such incidents of road-rage, running over of car by alcoholics or those in state of intoxication and held the incident of Pathalgaon as an outcome of administrative failure and lackadaisical an attitude on part of local administration and state government.
During this effigy burning, BJYM worker raised slogans in protest and the police there tried to stop burning of CM’s effigy, but the BJYM workers taking advantage of situation burt the effigy. During this protest, corporator Anurag Thakur, Lala Ram, Himanshu Jain, Ravish Singh, Goldy Yadav, JK Chandravanshi, Raja Kashyap, Nandi Halwai, Arvind Tiwari, Bhuneswar Sahu, Rakesh Tekam and others were present.
