Raipur, May 09: Cornering the principal opposition Congress ahead of the scheduled visit of All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi to Chhattisgarh next week, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday issued fresh poster on social media mocking it of a party of “Mungerilal” dreaming to form government. While the CPCC President Bhupesh Baghel is day-dreaming to become next Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, the AICC President is dreaming of becoming the Prime Minister after 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the country, the poster launched by the Chhattisgarh BJP states.
It is not for the first time that the ruling BJP has attacked the opposition Congress through poster. Previously, it had released images of prominent Congress leaders who have been aspiring for the Chief Ministership on being voted to power after next Legislative Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh.
In the poster released here, the BJP said that while the AICC President Rahul Gandhi had himself taken the Chief Ministerial aspirants Bhupesh Baghel, TS Singhdeo and others for task, will it be the Congress stalwart Sonia Gandhi or Public who would be taking Rahul Gandhi to the ride after the next elections.
Above attack has been made as the Congress announced that Rahul Gandhi would be holding separate public meetings and conventions during his visit to Chhattisgarh on May 17.
