BJP MLAs meet Union Ministers with demands for their region

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) camping in New Delhi on Wednesday called on Union Ministers to get the development work sanctioned for their respective Legislative constituencies.
According to the information received, the Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Narayan Chandel called on Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav during which he requested the central leader to consider the demand for the region including stoppage facilities of the various trains. He also requested the Railway Minister to look into the delay in the construction of Railway Over bridge in his constituency Champa.
Similarly, the senior BJP Legislator Ajay Chandrakar called on Railway Minister Vaishnav to get Railway Under bridge in his constituency. During his interaction with the Union Minister for Surface Transport and Roads Nitin Gadkari, the Kurud Legislator sought inclusion of his region under the Vishakapatnam corridor which would be a big boost to road connectivity for Chhattisgarh to the southern states.
Apart from them, the senior BJP Legislators Brijmohan Agrawal and Shivratan Sharma from Bhatapara constituency are also in national Capital to meet the central leaders. While Brijmohan Agrawal called on the central leader in-charge of party affairs in Chhattisgarh Om Prakash Mathur, the senior BJP Legislator Sharma met few Union Ministers over a series of demands for his constituency.
Above attempts of the MLAs are considered to be a last exercise to get few development works sanctioned for them ahead of the next Legislative Assembly polls scheduled to be held later this year in Chhattisgarh.
