BJP for release of education fee to Pvt schools under RTE

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday alleged that the state government is not providing payment of educational fee to the non aided non-government schools under the Right to Education (RTE) in Chhattisgarh.
In a statement issued here, the BJP Spokesperson Sanjay Shrivastava said that during the corona crisis, the state government should have provided the amount of the monthly fee of RTE to these schools but the non-payment of the government fee has created a financial crisis for the non aided private schools here.
He further stated while the Centre and State Government provides complete education fee of the students enrolled in private schools under RTE whereas the education fee is not been provided to them by the state government for the academic session 2019-20 so far. Managing Committees of these private schools is facing a huge financial crisis due to the existing scenario, he stated adding that the Centre has released fund for the said purpose to the state government whereas the latter is yet to release the fund to the private schools.
BJP Spokesperson raised the demand for the immediate release of the education fee to the private schools so that the teachers working in the schools get the salary, as well as the Managing Committees, can clear their other outstanding dues as they are not able to collect other fees from the parents following complete lockdown since the month of March.
