The fifth leg of ‘Jansampark Abhiyan’ by BJP started from premises of Maa Vaishnav Devi Mandir and it passed through main parts of city. It is notable that this campaign has been launched in order to apprise each and every citizen about the public welfare schemes of the central and state government. Yatra passed through Laxmanpur, Baghmarra, Kohalatola, Kanimera, Khadmudi, Jhuranadi and Bhorampur and covered about 16 kms.
During this Yatra, in each village, the BJP leaders and party workers were welcomed and were presented with srifal. During ‘Jansampark Yatra’, meetings were held in villages and in this the PWD Minister Rajesh Munat said that BJP is always concerned about farmers and both central and state government are running many news schemes and this include PM Aawas Yojana, Ujjawala Yojana, Mukhyamantri Khadyan Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana to ensure electricity in every house; Mukhyamantri Swasthya Beema Yojana. It is with an objective to take up all the schemes to villagers, that this ‘Jansampark Yatra’ has been started, he added. As per demand of villager, Rajesh Munat granted sanction of Rs 10 lakh for construction of CC road in village.
Further addressing the gathering, Khairagarh Jansampark yatra in-Charge BJYM President Vijay Sharma said that Chhattisgarh government is the government of and for the farmers, as it is purchasing paddy of farmers at MSP and providing them due benefit and it is also giving bonus of Rs 300 per quintal. Further BJYM Vice President and Khairagarh Janpad Panchayat President Vikrant Singh said that under leadership of CM Dr Raman Singh many schemes have been launched in the state and it is due to initiative of LS MP Abhishekh Singh that the farmers facing the drought situation have been distributed more than Rs 100 crore as insurance and compensation for loss of crop and soon the same amount will be available under PM Crop Insurance Scheme. On declaration of college in Chuikhadan, he expressed gratitude towards CM and LS MP.
On this occasion BJP District President Santosh Agrawal, Khairagarh VS PR Padyatra in-Charge Rajendra Golcha, social worker Siddharth Singh, Chuikhadan Mandal BJP President Arvind Sharma, Khairagarh Mandl BJP President Virendra Jain, Sahlewara Mandal BJP President Teerath Chandel, Chuikhadan Nagar Panchayat President Giriraj Kishore, Vice President Khamhan Tamrakar and other office bearers of above Mandals were present in large number.
