Raipur, Sep 22:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday alleged that the Chhattisgarh government is implementing the state-scheme through irregularities in the fund sanctioned from the various central-schemes including National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS).
BJP Members of Parliament led by Raipur Parliamentarian Sunil Soni urged the Union Minister for Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar to issue essential directives to Chhattisgarh government for effective implementation of various central-schemes.
According to the information received, the Lok Sabha member from Bilaspur Arun Sao, Vijay Baghel from Durg, Guharam Ajgale from Janjgir, Gomti Sai from Raigarh and Mohan Mandavi from Kanker were also present during the meeting with Union Minister Tomar. BJP MPs from Chhattisgarh diverted the attention of Minister towards the reported irregularities in central schemes.
Soni informed that state government is not making payments of installment of the beneficiaries of PM Housing Scheme and added that new Residential Quarters are also not been approved here.
BJP MPs further stated that attempts are also being made to deny the farmers benefits from PM Kissan Samman Fund and urged the Centre for effective steps to ensure that all the farmers from Chhattisgarh are benefitted from the scheme. BJP MPs claimed that the development works being carried out in villages in Chhattisgarh are being done from the fund sanctioned under NREGS and other schemes whereas no contribution is being made from state government. They also alleged irregularities in NREGS fund and urged centre to ensure that the villagers are benefitted from the central schemes in Chhattisgarh.
BJP MPs further stated that a major amount is being provided to state government through Finance Commission for the basic amenities at village panchayat whereas the state government is spending the fund for the arrangements to establish quarantine centre and Gauthan construction. BJP raised demand that state should spend the Finance Commission fund for providing basic amenities to village panchyats.
