Raipur, Oct 08: Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Guru Rudrakumar inaugurated the new Primary Health Center at Madesra, Gram Panchayat under Dhamdha development block in Durg district. On this occasion, he said that the people of the area will get the benefit of better health facilities at the local level with the launch of the new Primary Health Center. Now people will not have to go far to get treatment, they will get the benefit of health facilities in the village itself. This health center has been constructed by Chhattisgarh Medical Corporation at a cost of Rs 61.96 lakh. With the opening of new primary health center at Madesra, the Gram Panchayat will provide better health facilities to the population of 18 thousand in Madesra and nearby villages. On this occasion, Minister Guru Rudrakumar on the demand of the villagers built a compound wall in the school premises here, C.C. Road construction, bore mining and waiting room construction were also approved.
Giving information about various ambitious schemes of the state government, he said that the state government is making plans keeping in mind the interests of everyone including farmers, laborers, youth, women, so that people of all classes are benefited. He said that the state of Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country where the highest price of rice is being purchased for Rs 2500, due to which the standard of living of the farmers has improved. He said that a water tank will be provided to all the houses in the village by constructing a water tank through the Minimata Amrit Dhara Naljal Yojana in all the villages under Ahiwara Assembly constituency. On this occasion, officers and employees of the health department including local public representatives and villagers were present.
