Bhilai, Oct 13: Bank of Baroda Durg region organised a virtual “Kisan Mela” at village Tarrighat in Patan Block on October 12. The event was held under the joint aegis of Patan and Didgabhatha branch. Ajay Khurana, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda was virtually present as chief guest. Among others present virtually were Rohit Patel, Chief General Manager, Rural & Agriculture Banking; Girish C Dalakoti, Zonal Head, Bhopal Zone; Ranjit Kumar Mandal, Network DGM Chhattisgarh, SLBC convenor.
In this virtual Kisan Mela, Arvind Katkar, regional head, Bank of Baroda Durg area felicitated all the farmers in the presence of chief guest and all other executives. Amit Banerjee, Deputy Regional Chief, Ashok Kumar Singh, Lead District Manager, Durg, Jitendra Singh, Director. A total loan of about Rs 82 lakh was distributed to the farmers through this virtual platform. Other branches of the Bank also registered their presence virtually at the fair.
