AWGP to organise ‘108 kundiya mahayajna’ in February

Bhilai, Dec 05: Under the auspices of All World Gayatri Parivar, Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj Haridwar, eleven districts of Chhattisgarh including Durg-Bhilai, Bemetara, Balod are going to celebrate silver jubilee celebrations of ‘Bhilai Ashwamedh Gayatri Mahayagya’ next year. Under the silver jubilee celebrations, 108 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya will be organised at Police Ground Sector-6.
This event will witness active participation of all the active workers including Gayatri Shaktipeeths, Pragyapeeths, Pragya Mandals, Youth Wings, Mahila Mandal, Diya, Zone, Sub Zone, District Coordinators and Block Coordinators. For ensuring success of this grand religious event in Bhilai, the AWGP members and office bearers conducted a meeting on Sunday at Gayatri Shekhtipeeth, Sector 6.
AWGP member Mohan Umre informed that silver jubilee ceremony of Bhilai Ashwamedh Mahayagya will be celebrated with 108 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya under the auspices of Shantikunj Haridwar. Permission from Shantikunj Haridwar has been received for conducting the programme during February 27 to March 02, 2022.
In view of Covid-19, AWGP Chief Dr Pranav Pandya has instructed to prepone / postpone the event as per the local situations and administrative permission. All the senior members agreed to change the date according to the local situation. If the infection rate is normal in the surrounding area including Durg Bhilai, the event will be held as per the schedule.
The central team of Shantikunj Haridwar will arrive here to conduct the 108 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya and Ashwamedh Mahayagya at Police Ground Sector-6 Bhilai. On the other hand, during January 15 to 18, 2022, a 24 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya will be held in village Bori of Durg district.
The senior members discussed the outline of the programme and entrusted responsibilities to the members during the meeting. Gayatri Shaktipeeth Sector 6 Managing Trustee Vasudev Sharma, Sub-Zone Coordinator SP Singh, Dr SK Fating, Vinita Tiwari, Mangala Bharade, Kiran Chaturvedi, Pawan Kumar Divedi, Tulsi Sahu and senior members addressed the meeting. Vasudev Sharma, SP Singh, Dhirajlal Tank, Mohan Umre, Kaushal Adil, Bhavmochan Verma, Anil Chaudhary, Anil Verma, Archana Choubey, Ramkumar Deshmukh, Ishwar Sahu, Dr Shashi Kumar Fating, Dileshwar Sahu, Nayak, Satya Narayan Nishad, Narayan Sahu and other members of Gayatri Pariwar were present.
