Ar Swapnil Jaggi has increased the pride of Chhattisgarh in country, abroad

Raipur, Oct 05: Tata Steel Limited, (Tata Structure) organised the Square (Chowk) design competition at the international level, in which over 5210 architects from India and international level participated. On shortlisting the participants of contest on October 2, 12 architects were selected which includes the name of leading architect of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Swapnil Jaggi which is a matter of great pride for Raipur and Chhattisgarh. According to Tata Steel, this Square (Chowk) designs which have been shortlisted, the idea is to make these selected designs in different cities of India. Designed by city architect, Swapnil Jaggi, the theme of the square was ‘Chaturanga’ which was designed to display ‘Chess’, which explains the idea of India of now and the present.
‘Chaturanga’, is an old Indian board game that was invented at least 1500 years ago and is one of the earliest predecessors of the game of chess. Architect Swapnil Jaggi been a topper of Nagpur University has received the award of Best Architect and Interior Designer thrice in the National Level organised by Glitz Magazine. Prior to this his thesis was selected in the top 10 in NIASA and in MTV Show Splitsvilla Season 6, he did the B set design.
The essence of the design is ‘of the people and for the people’. The square design was highly appreciated by Tata Steel. Architect Swapnil Jaggi is the son of Rajendra Jaggi, the working president of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce Industries and State President of State Congress Committee business cell.
