Anyone trying to add ‘fuel to fire’ will not be spared: CM
BJP is always trying to encash upon such issues in its favour
Raipur, Apr 12:
Making a quick remark about the state government ‘Bharosa sammelan’ in the presence of AICC National general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and the ex-CM Raman Singh also on Bastar tour, CM Baghel said that if Raman Singh wants to come to join on the dais he is most welcome.
About the objection raised by ex-Minister Kedar Kashyap on presence of Priyanka Gandhi in the sammelan, CM Baghel reminded him that earlier also many programmes of BJP government were held and in this the BJP President was also present. The photo of co-organisation in-charge of BJP Soudan Singh used to be published in the posters, he added.
To another question about protest by BJP Mahila Morcha over increasing incidents against women, CM Baghel said that if one compares the 14 yrs rule of BJP and 4 yrs that of Congress, it would be aptly clear and added that he has put it in the Vidhan Sabha as well. Contrary to this if BJP Mahila Morcha wants to stage protest, they should against the increasing inflation, prices of commodities, petrol and diesel, LPG and others, we are ready to help them. If they want the central government to put a check on all these things, Congress is ready and would extend full support, CM added.
About the Birhanpur incident, CM once again came down heavily against BJP saying that BJP holds different stand on such issues. In case of Jashpur incident, they had formed a committee to probe, but in Birhanpur incident they have not formed any probe committee. In Birhanpur the BJP leaders are only adding fuel to fire, he added.
CM charged that BJP does not want to maintain peace, but rather try to encash upon any issue in its favour. CM said that his government is providing security to the family and even made declaration of financial help and a government job to one from the family of the victim. Ajay Chandrakar says that judicial inquiry should be held and on this CM questioned as to why he was sleeping for last so many days. CM Baghel said that all the posts will be closely searched and this include those trying to spread hatred and violence in the society and added that there is rule of law & order in the state and nobody is above the law and on getting proof, strict action will be taken against the guilty.
