AIDS Awareness Campaign at Alliance Public School

Students tried their best to spread the message through various programmes as part of an awareness campaign on AIDS challenge on World AIDS Day at Allons Public School Bemetra.
Dr. Nitesh Choubey and Dr. Kundan Swarnakar informed that “AIDS has been termed as sexual transmitted disease HIV. It is caused due to different reasons.
The first being having sex with an infected person. The second reason is the use of contaminated needles, the third is drug abuse. The fourth reason is transfusion of blood of an infected patient to a healthy person. The fifth reason breastfeeding of the baby by an infected mother. In fact, AIDS is a group of symptoms that reduces the body’s immunity to fight diseases, making it easier for an infected person to get any disease, and the patient becomes prematurely premature. AIDS is a serious and almost incurable disease that but can be treated safely if detected early.  Kamaljit Arora, Chairman, School Management said that AIDS has spread its legs all over the world. Not only a particular country but the world should come together and be committed to its prevention.
Principal Dr Satyajit Hota said that “AIDS Day conveys the message of united efforts among all countries of the world and to develop solidarity against it. Information about AIDS is the only protection. The youth and students should be more and more aware of it. There are some misconceptions among the general public that it is a contagious disease, while the fact is that AIDS is not transmitted by simple contact, shaking hands, getting up and sitting with a person infected with a hug. Therefore, it becomes our duty not to ignore the infected person and try to boost his morale by supporting him. Let us all work together to make people aware and give full information. At the same time, Indians can avoid this disease by adopting our own civilization and vedic culture.  Earlier in the evening, Kamaljit Arora, Chairman, School Management and Dr. Satyajit, Principal, School Management and the students paid homage to the deceased persons by lighting candles in the symbolic band. The event was inaugurated today by lighting a wreath and lamp at the statue of Mother Saraswati. The stage was conducted by Khushi Devangan and Falguni. the gratitude was expressed by Miss Priyanka Singh. After the prayer meeting today, the child artists expressed themselves through  a human ribbon chain , HIV silent acting, street plays, group discussions, speech competitions, band  conveyed the message to fight the challenge . Nupur Raghav, Shreya Gupta, Review, Manmeet Singh Rajpal, Garima Adile, Navneesh Baba Dinkar, Falguni, Khushi Devagan, Jagriti, Kaveri, Anchal, Tejaswini, Sweta, Sakshi, Chandni, Madhuresh, and others from Class IX, Amit, Shivesh, Srijan, Hemraj, Yanish, Shreyansh, Satyendra, Shivshankar, Mehul, Aishwarya, Om Chandrakar, Lekhram, Hrithik, Deepti, Anvita Dubey and the group won a lot of accolades for their performance.
